Lot 898a English Spearpoint Bowie.
With carved bone grip later marrid together marked James Rodgers, Royal Cuttlery, Sheffield. Measures 13 1/2" overall with 8 5/8" blade. Correctly hot stamped in forging process circa about 1850-70's. Good condition with blade polished but edges and corners not broken or rounded. A top Shefield Bowie knife maker.
